Hyderabad: The RTC–Metro Common Pass will make daily travel easier for commuters, Minorities Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin said on Saturday. He said the newly introduced pass would greatly benefit the common people. He added that it would ease the burden on commuters.
Azharuddin said the initiative reflected the Congress government’s commitment to the welfare of the common man. He said the government was working under the guidance and vision of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
The Minister travelled by an RTC bus and by Metro Rail on Saturday. He used the common pass for the journey. He had bought the pass along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Labour Minister Vivek Venkataswamy and senior officials.
RTC–Metro Common Pass to help lakhs of commuters
Azharuddin said the RTC–Metro Common Pass would benefit lakhs of commuters in the coming days. He urged people to make full use of the facility.
He also appreciated the efforts of the Transport Minister and department officials. He extended his appreciation to all those involved in making the initiative a reality.
