Kamareddy: Telangana Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Saturday urged people and political leaders, cutting across party, caste and religious lines, to take part in the Kamareddy Dasara celebrations. The festival will be held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kamareddy. Shabbir Ali inspected the arrangements at the stadium in person and reviewed preparations for the event.
He directed officials of different departments to work in close coordination so that the celebrations run smoothly and cause no inconvenience to the public. According to him, the Dasara festivities should be a collective public event beyond political and social divisions. He appealed to people from all sections to attend with their families and make the celebrations a success.
Special invitations will go to the local MLA, former MLAs and leaders of various political parties, Shabbir Ali said. In his view, this will ensure that the celebrations reflect broad public participation.
