Hyderabad to host Poultry India Expo 2026 from November 25

Hyderabad: Hyderabad will host the 18th edition of Poultry India Expo from November 25 to 27, with more than 550 exhibitors and 51,000 industry professionals expected. The international exhibition will take place at HITEX Exhibition Centre and attract industry representatives from around 120 countries. Organised by the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IPEMA), the event will bring together businesses across the poultry value chain.

Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Panchayati Raj, Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, is scheduled to inaugurate the exhibition. He will also inaugurate Poultry Knowledge Day on November 24 at HICC–Novotel, Hitech City. The conference will precede the three-day expo.

Spread across seven exhibition halls, the expo will showcase equipment and technologies for poultry breeding, hatcheries, feed production and farm management. It will also feature solutions for housing, disease prevention, egg processing and waste management. In addition, participants will explore automated feeding, climate-controlled housing, farm monitoring and veterinary diagnostics.

India’s poultry sector has become a major contributor to the agricultural economy. It supports an estimated 5–6 million livelihoods through farming, feed manufacturing, transport, processing and equipment supply. Government data shows India produced 142.77 billion eggs in 2023–24, retaining its position as the world’s second-largest egg producer.

Poultry India Expo to showcase farming technology and business opportunities

As demand for poultry products grows, producers are seeking better productivity, lower feed costs and stronger disease prevention. Therefore, the Hyderabad exhibition will offer businesses opportunities to assess equipment, meet domestic and overseas suppliers and explore commercial partnerships.

IPEMA–Poultry India President Uday Singh Bayas said the exhibition would connect different segments of the industry. He said it would help producers and manufacturers understand technological developments and advances in farm management. Moreover, the event would facilitate business discussions and collaboration between Indian and international companies.

Poultry Knowledge Day will feature scientists, policymakers, veterinarians and industry representatives. Discussions will cover poultry health, nutrition, vaccination, feed management, farm automation and artificial intelligence. The conference will also examine sustainable production practices and practical challenges facing poultry producers.

The previous edition attracted 51,251 visitors and more than 500 exhibitors. It covered approximately 35,000 square metres. Organisers expect participation to increase this year, with more than 550 exhibitors scheduled to display products and services.

IPEMA works with over 20 international poultry associations and 40 national industry bodies. Through these partnerships, it brings overseas manufacturers, technology providers and industry representatives to the exhibition. The event is expected to benefit farmers, entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises seeking expansion or equipment investments.

Indian manufacturers can also explore distribution arrangements and overseas business opportunities. The expo will remain open to industry visitors from 10 am to 6 pm on November 25, 26 and 27.
