TGPSC national conference inaugurated by President Murmu in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the TGPSC national conference at Ramoji Film City on December 19, formally opening a two-day national meeting of Public Service Commission chairpersons.

The event brought together the Union Public Service Commission and all State Public Service Commissions to strengthen merit-based and transparent public recruitment. Moreover, the Telangana Public Service Commission hosted the annual conference on December 19 and 20, 2025.

Through this platform, constitutional recruitment bodies exchanged views on shared administrative challenges. At the same time, participants focused on improving efficiency, credibility and public confidence in selection systems. As a result, the discussions addressed both operational and institutional concerns.

Chairpersons and senior officials from the UPSC and State PSCs attended the sessions and actively engaged in deliberations. During the meetings, they discussed examination reforms, policy coordination and institutional best practices. Consequently, the dialogue aimed to promote consistency and fairness in recruitment across states.

TGPSC national conference to conclude with vice-president’s address

Vice-President Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan will deliver the valedictory address at the conference on December 20. During his address, he will underline the need for continuous institutional reform and stronger accountability mechanisms.

Meanwhile, Telangana Governor Shri Jishnu Dev Varma and Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy will grace the event. Their presence reflects the state government’s administrative support. Therefore, the national meeting will reaffirm a collective commitment to efficient and transparent public service recruitment nationwide.
