Jayant Chaudhary distributes 2400 jobs at Amroha Kaushal Mahotsav

New Delhi: Minister of State Shri Jayant Chaudhary on Thursday handed over appointment letters to selected candidates at the Amroha Kaushal Mahotsav, where over 2,400 youth received job offers.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship organised the Amroha Kaushal Mahotsav as a district-level employment platform. Nearly 4,000 candidates from Amroha and nearby districts attended interviews. As a result, more than 2,400 candidates secured job offers across sectors.

Over 55 companies participated in the event. They offered roles in Automotive, Logistics, Healthcare, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, Manufacturing, Retail and Services. Consequently, the programme linked local youth directly with industry opportunities.

Member of Parliament Shri Chaudhary Kanwar Singh Tanwar and MLA Shri Mahendra Singh Khadgawanshi attended the event. Senior Ministry officials, including Shri Arun Yadav and Shri V.S. Arvind, were also present.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Jayant Chaudhary highlighted the potential of rural youth. He said the strong turnout reflected aspiration and readiness for employment. Moreover, he stated that such platforms bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

He encouraged youth to upgrade skills through initiatives such as SOAR – Skilling for AI Readiness. In addition, he urged participation in regional IndiaSkills competitions to gain national and international exposure.

The National Skill Development Corporation supported the event through grassroots mobilisation and industry coordination. Therefore, the Amroha Kaushal Mahotsav functioned as a single-window platform for jobs, apprenticeships and career guidance.

The Minister said the event forms part of a broader district outreach strategy. It aligns with initiatives such as PMKVY 4.0, expanded apprenticeships under NAPS and ITI modernisation under PM-SETU. Furthermore, the Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to organising similar programmes nationwide to build a skilled and future-ready workforce.
