Vivek Venkatswamy hails Congress municipal victory

Hyderabad: Labour and Mines Minister Dr. G Vivek Venkatswamy said the Congress municipal victory in Telangana reflects renewed public trust in the party’s governance and development agenda.

In a statement on Friday, he said the results across the State clearly demonstrated citizens’ confidence in transparent and accountable administration. He added that welfare and development remain the core pillars of the Congress government, and the mandate reaffirmed that direction.

According to him, the outcome aligned with the party’s expectations of winning over 70 per cent of the seats. He said the party would carry forward this momentum into the forthcoming elections as well.

Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy congratulated all winning candidates and urged them to serve people with sincerity, dedication and compassion. He also thanked the voters of Chennur for supporting Congress candidates and ensuring the party’s success in the municipal polls.

Congress municipal victory strengthens party across Telangana

The Minister said the Congress municipal victory has further consolidated the party’s position across Telangana. However, he acknowledged that the party fell short in a few municipalities.

He stated that the leadership would review the reasons for those setbacks and address gaps in outreach. He added that the party would strengthen its strategy to ensure better performance in future elections.

Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy reiterated that the government remains committed to welfare and development. He said the party would continue working to meet public expectations across the State.
