Officials briefed the ministers on project status, fund utilisation and hurdles affecting construction. They also outlined measures taken to address delays and streamline execution.

Irrigation Projects review focuses on Godavari schemes

The ministers discussed key projects on the Godavari river, including the Devadula lift irrigation project. They instructed officials to remove bottlenecks and speed up construction activities.

They stated that the government aimed to complete major schemes within the next two years. In addition, they recalled that the Chief Minister had issued clear directions last month to prioritise these works.

Moreover, the ministers assured that the government would release required funds without delay. Therefore, they directed officials to ensure that irrigation benefits reach farmers at the earliest.
