Telangana budget focus on employment praised by Vivek Venkatswamy

Hyderabad: Labour Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy said the Telangana budget employment focus reflects the government’s commitment to welfare and youth empowerment.

He praised the budget presented by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, stating that it prioritises inclusive growth and social justice. He added that the government placed strong emphasis on farmers and employment.

The minister said two key initiatives under his department received support in the budget. These include the CM Overseas Employment Programme and scholarships for Advanced Technology Centre trainees.

Moreover, he said these schemes will improve skill development among youth. They will also expand global employment opportunities for students.

He described the Telangana budget employment approach as forward-looking and transformative. He added that focusing on employability will empower educated youth across the state.

Furthermore, he said the government allocated funds to key sectors such as agriculture, healthcare and education. He noted that these investments will strengthen grassroots development.

The minister said the budget balances welfare commitments with infrastructure expansion. He added that this approach will accelerate economic growth.

He also highlighted allocations for women and child welfare and Panchayati Raj. According to him, these measures will support rural development and social inclusion.

In addition, he said the budget promotes both urban modernisation and rural progress. He noted that it does not neglect weaker sections while pursuing development.

Vivek Venkatswamy said the Telangana budget employment strategy aims to ensure long-term socio-economic progress. He added that the government remains focused on inclusive governance.
