Hyderabad: Fuel LPG supply stable conditions prevailed across Telangana, with oil marketing companies ensuring uninterrupted availability of petrol, diesel and LPG, officials said.
They stated that continuous monitoring and coordinated action had kept the supply system steady. Domestic LPG distribution was prioritised to avoid disruption. As a result, around 2.18 lakh cylinders were delivered daily across the state.
This figure exceeded the pre-war daily average of 2,15,151 cylinders. Officials said this reflected a robust and stable supply network. At the same time, demand for petrol and diesel had eased. It returned to normal levels after a recent surge.
Similarly, LPG refill bookings dropped as panic-driven demand declined. Officials noted that the situation had stabilised due to improved consumer behaviour and supply management.
Fuel LPG supply stable as logistics and coordination improve
The State-level Coordinator for OMCs said public sector oil companies closely monitored operations. They also streamlined logistics to speed up deliveries. Therefore, supply chains functioned without disruption.
OMCs remained in constant coordination with the State Government. Officials resolved operational issues daily to maintain consistency. This ensured steady availability of petrol, diesel and LPG across Telangana.
Consumers were encouraged to use digital booking methods. Officials promoted SMS, missed call and IVRS platforms. They also highlighted the Delivery Authentication Code system to ensure correct delivery.
Authorities said Piped Natural Gas was being promoted as an alternative fuel. PNG services were available in Hyderabad, Medchal, Sangareddy, Choutuppal, Nalgonda, Warangal, Khammam, Shadnagar and Ramagundam. Efforts were underway to expand coverage further.
In addition, migrant workers and students without local address proof could access 5-kg free trade LPG cylinders. They could obtain these from authorised distributors with valid ID and a self-declaration.
Officials said these steps improved access and ensured equitable distribution. In that context, Fuel LPG supply stable conditions reflected effective coordination and responsive supply management across Telangana.
