Ragging incident rocks Rajapet Gurukul school

Hyderabad: A ragging incident at Rajapet Gurukul school in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district led to serious injuries for six Class 10 students. This was after a violent assault by senior students.

According to initial reports, Intermediate students attacked the juniors with cricket bats, resulting in multiple injuries. The incident reportedly took place inside the hostel premises of the government-run residential institution.

In an apparent attempt to suppress the matter, the hostel management suspended five students internally. They did this instead of filing an official complaint or alerting authorities.
