Hyderabad: Shaik Ahmed Ali daughter wedding drew several prominent personalities from politics, business, media and social circles in Hyderabad on Friday night. Senior journalist Shaik Ahmed Ali’s daughter, Sumaiyya Begum, married Syed Atta-ur-Rahman Hussaini at Kings Palace Function Hall.
Sumaiyya Begum holds an MA in Economics. Syed Atta-ur-Rahman Hussaini holds M.Com and B.Ed degrees. He is the son of Syed Nisar Hussaini, proprietor of Syed’s Dairy.
The wedding ceremony featured the Khutba-e-Nikah by noted Islamic scholar Mufti Hafez Syed Misbahuddin Naqshbandi. Hafiz Mufti Syed Bahauddin Naqshbandi offered the dua during the ceremony.
Several political leaders attended the wedding and conveyed their greetings to the couple. Advisor to the Telangana Government Mohammed Ali Shabbir was among the guests. BRS MLC Dr Dasoju Sravan also attended the function.
AIMIM MLA Majid Hussain joined the celebrations as well. Noted Islamic scholar Dr. Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi also attended the wedding.

Dr. Mufti Syed Ziauddin Naqshbandi serves as Shaykh-ul-Fiqh of Jamia Nizamia. He is also the Founder-Director of the Abul Hasanaat Islamic Research Centre (AHIRC).
Tahreek Muslim Shabban president Mohammed Mushtaq Mallik attended the function. BC Finance Corporation Chairman Nuthi Srikanth also joined the gathering.
Senior BRS leader Shaik Abdullah Sohail was among the prominent guests. TPCC spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin also attended the wedding.
Former Corporator Mohd Muzaffar Ali Khan joined the celebrations. Senior advocates Muzaffarullah Khan and Barkat Ali Khan were also present.
