Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar issued a Bandi Sanjay challenge to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, daring him to prove the implementation of the Congress government’s six guarantees in Telangana.
He said he would resign if the government demonstrated full delivery of the promised schemes. These include ₹2,500 monthly aid for women and ₹4,000 Aasara pensions. In return, he asked the Chief Minister to resign and apologise if the claims proved false.
Sanjay described the Chief Minister’s statements during his Kerala campaign as misleading. He said those claims did not reflect the ground reality in Telangana. Moreover, he criticised the government’s assertions and questioned their credibility.
He suggested that the government invite Kerala media to any village in Telangana. According to him, such verification would reveal gaps in implementation. He added that public scrutiny would expose shortcomings in delivering the six guarantees.

The Union Minister also referred to other promises, including unemployment allowance and Bharosa cards for students. He further mentioned Rythu Bharosa support for tenant farmers and labourers. He said the Bandi Sanjay challenge would stand if these schemes were shown as fully implemented.
Speaking in Huzurabad, he made these remarks while visiting a proposed dumping yard site. At the same time, he alleged that the Chief Minister’s campaign narrative had failed in other states.
He claimed such statements contributed to electoral setbacks for the Congress. Additionally, he accused Revanth Reddy of repeating similar claims during his Kerala visit. He said the campaign lacked substance and did not match actual progress in Telangana.
Overall, he maintained that the government must present clear evidence. He added that only verifiable implementation could validate its promises under the six guarantees.
