BJP Telangana chief Ramchander Rao extends New Year 2026 greetings, calls for developed India

Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao on Thursday extended New Year 2026 greetings to the people of Telangana and the nation, urging collective efforts to realise the goal of a Developed India.

In a public statement, he said the new year should begin with renewed commitment to national progress. Accordingly, he stressed that unity and discipline would remain vital for sustained development. At the same time, he encouraged citizens to actively contribute to nation-building.

Crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Ramchander Rao said India recorded strong progress across economic and institutional fronts in 2025. As a result, governance reforms and policy stability strengthened public confidence and global standing.

Economic growth reinforces Developed India vision

Highlighting key milestones, the BJP leader noted that India’s GDP reached $4.18 trillion in 2025. Consequently, the country overtook Japan to become the world’s fourth-largest economy. Moreover, he said India was well placed to soon emerge as the third-largest economy.

He further observed that growth must remain balanced and inclusive. Therefore, sustainability and innovation should guide development priorities in the coming years.

Recalling former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Ramchander Rao appealed to citizens to uphold the spirit of “Nation First.” In this context, he urged people to work together under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership to achieve national goals in 2026.

He concluded by wishing the people a peaceful, prosperous, and productive new year.
