New Delhi: India has officially launched the BRICS Youth Meeting 2026 with its first coordination session, marking the beginning of youth-focused engagements under its chairship.
The virtual meeting was organised by the Department of Youth Affairs India and brought together representatives from all BRICS member countries.

As India assumes the BRICS Chairship for 2026, the meeting set the tone for collaboration under the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”
