Hyderabad: CBI officers served a notice to former MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha at her residence in Banjara Hills on Thursday in connection with the Delhi liquor scam case.
Officials visited her Hyderabad residence in the afternoon to deliver a notice issued by the Delhi High Court. The notice directs Kavitha to appear before the court on March 16.
However, Kavitha was not present at the residence when the officers arrived. Therefore, CBI officials handed the notice to her husband Anil Kumar.
Officials also asked about Kavitha’s whereabouts and when she would return home.
