Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) on Saturday accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of bribery to voters in Jubilee Hills and circulating fake videos to damage the Congress’s image before the by-election.
TPCC spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin claimed that BRS workers were bribing voters and creating fabricated clips to show Congress leaders involved in similar misconduct. He described it as a deliberate attempt to mislead the electorate amid fears of defeat.
Congress claims BRS resorted to bribery and misinformation in Jubilee Hills
He alleged that BRS had used manipulated visuals and AI-generated material throughout the campaign. “In the final hours before the campaign ends on November 9, the BRS has intensified its fake content drive,” Nizamuddin said.
According to him, the Congress campaign led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy gained strong public response through roadshows and door-to-door outreach. “Our candidate Naveen Yadav enjoys people’s trust and support,” he said.
Nizamuddin urged party workers to stay alert against attempts to influence voters through money or intimidation. “We will ensure a clean and fair election,” he added.
He asserted that the BRS’s alleged actions reflected growing insecurity and a loss of credibility among Jubilee Hills voters.
