Harish Rao backs White Coat Revolution, aids 122 MBBS students

Hyderabad: Former Minister and senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao backed the White Coat Revolution and extended financial assistance to 122 MBBS students through the BLR Charitable Trust on Tuesday.

He distributed nine cheques to economically disadvantaged medical students at his residence. The support formed part of the White Coat Revolution drive for the current academic year.

Party MLA B. Laxma Reddy attended the programme. Harish Rao said the Trust supported 122 MBBS students this year to help them meet education expenses. Therefore, he described the initiative as an investment in the State’s future health system.

He stated that empowering talented youth from backward communities would strengthen public healthcare in the long run. Moreover, he said such support ensured that financial hardship did not block academic progress.
