24 Speed Post service adds tracking and secure delivery features

The new service will introduce dedicated processing windows and priority air transmission. Therefore, the system will support faster handling of time-sensitive deliveries.

Alongside this service, the department will also offer 24 and 48 Speed Post options with assured D+1 and D+2 delivery timelines.

Officials also introduced OTP-based secure delivery for customers. In addition, the service will provide end-to-end tracking with SMS alerts.

Business customers will also receive additional facilities. These include buy-now-pay-later billing, free pickup for bulk bookings and API integration with centralised billing.

The Department of Posts will also offer a money-back guarantee if deliveries are delayed. According to officials, these measures will strengthen India Post’s premium express delivery services.
