Minister Seethakka described Indira Gandhi as a symbol of courage and women’s empowerment. She said India’s first woman Prime Minister upheld the dignity of women and inspired generations. Further, she stated that the present Telangana government was moving towards ‘Indiramma Rajyam’. She cited schemes such as Indiramma Illu, which provides housing for the poor.
