Sajjanar said the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) came into effect immediately after the election schedule was announced. He directed all licensed weapon holders—including political leaders, traders, and individuals with personal firearms—to deposit their weapons at nearby police stations without delay.
Furthermore, he urged citizens to stay alert and report any violations or suspicious activity by calling Dial 100 or 112. In addition, he said police teams will keep a close watch on rowdy sheeters and history sheeters to maintain public order throughout the campaign period.
Meanwhile, District Election Returning Officer R. V. Karnan confirmed that all arrangements for polling on 11 November are complete. He said Jubilee Hills constituency has 3,92,669 registered voters, and officials are coordinating closely with the Election Commission to ensure smooth polling.
Karnan warned that strict cases will be filed against any political party or individual violating the MCC. Moreover, he reminded new voters that they still have 10 days to register their names.
He added that political posters and banners will be removed from all public areas before polling day. The counting of votes will take place on 14 November at Potla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy Stadium in Yousufguda. Karnan also appealed to officials and polling staff to work with full cooperation to ensure a fair and transparent election.
