Hyderabad: Demand for land in Hyderabad’s Kokapet area continues to surge. HMDA earned ₹154 crore in the latest round of auctions held on December 5. The 1.98-acre parcel in Kokapet’s Golden Mile was sold to COEUS Education Management at a rate of ₹77.75 crore per acre.
Officials confirmed the high-value bid reflects sustained interest in Kokapet real estate. It has emerged as the most sought-after zone in Telangana. The area recently made headlines when land fetched a record ₹151 crore per acre in an earlier round.
Kokapet fetches ₹3,862 crore across four auction phases
With Friday’s auction, HMDA has earned a total of ₹3,862 crore from four phases covering 29 acres in Kokapet. The figures reinforce the region’s reputation as a premium investment destination in Hyderabad’s western corridor.
Real estate experts attribute the boom to its proximity to IT corridors, high-end infrastructure, and upcoming commercial projects. HMDA plans to continue monetising its land bank through future auctions, capitalising on sustained market demand.
