New Delhi: Registrations on the MY Bharat Portal crossed 2.05 crore as of 26 November 2025. Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya shared the figures in the Lok Sabha. The platform acts as a digital gateway for youth across the country. It supports development, engagement, and nation-building activities.
New agreement to expand digital access
The Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Digital India Corporation to strengthen digital accessibility. It aims to enhance mobile-friendly services on the MY Bharat Portal. The agreement introduces new technology-driven features that improve access and user experience for young people.
Digital features and national initiatives expanding the MY Bharat Portal
The collaboration includes a mobile application for Android and iOS. It also adds AI-driven CV builders, digital profiles, integrated dashboards for institutions, and tools such as speech-to-text, voice navigation, AI chatbots, and geo-tagged opportunity searches. In addition, the portal offers quizzes, learning modules, and integration with Aadhaar, DigiLocker, Bhashini, and MyGov.
The Government is expanding accessibility in 22 languages and improving interoperability with national platforms. MY Bharat also functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Youth Affairs. Recent efforts focus on strengthening structures at national, state, and district levels. Moreover, the Ministry is facilitating collaborations with ministries, state governments, industry partners, and academic institutions.
Focus on youth programmes and inclusivity
Dr Mandaviya said flagship youth programmes are scaling up under a structured annual action plan. The plan covers experiential learning, community immersion, volunteering opportunities, and nation-building initiatives. It also supports capacity building for youth volunteers, coordinators, and agencies. Furthermore, the platform emphasises inclusivity by supporting rural, tribal, and socially disadvantaged groups through outreach and digital empowerment.
