Hyderabad: North India heavy rains disrupted normal life across multiple states. In Uttarakhand, a landslide damaged the Haridwar–Rishikesh railway route near Kali temple. Tracks were blocked, and several trains stopped.
Rajasthan floods led to closure of schools in eight districts. Overflowing rivers affected Udaipur, Salumber, Jalore, and Sirohi.

Punjab saw flooding in 2,000 villages. Nearly 3.8 lakh residents were impacted, with 46 lives lost. Schools resumed after being shut for 12 days.
In Uttar Pradesh, flooding in Vrindavan worsened after water was released from Hathni Kund barrage. Water entered Radha Vallabh temple and reached near Banke Bihari temple.
