Hyderabad: Jana Sena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will campaign for NDA alliance candidates ahead of the Telangana municipal polls, scheduled for February 11.
Pawan Kalyan is set to campaign on February 7 and 8 across several urban local bodies. The outreach aims to mobilise voter support for candidates from the Jana Sena Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Although the two parties are contesting the elections separately, they are coordinating campaign activities under the broader NDA framework. Leaders described the arrangement as a friendly contest focused on public welfare and grassroots expansion.
The campaign is expected to strengthen the alliance’s visibility in municipal areas. Party leaders said Pawan Kalyan’s presence would energise cadres and attract urban voters.

According to party sources, the campaign will cover multiple constituencies. The emphasis will remain on local governance, development and alliance unity.
Meanwhile, NDA leaders said coordination meetings were underway to finalise logistics. They added that a detailed route map and public meeting schedule would be released shortly.
The Jana Sena chief’s participation marks a key push by the NDA to consolidate its position ahead of polling day. The alliance hopes to translate joint campaigning into electoral gains during the Telangana municipal polls.
