Hyderabad: President of India Droupadi Murmu arrived in the city for her winter retreat, marking the beginning of the President Murmu Hyderabad visit, with tight security arrangements at Ramoji Film City.
Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu, IPS, welcomed the President with a bouquet on her arrival. Meanwhile, the police department put in place multi-layer security to ensure her safety throughout the stay.
According to the Commissioner, senior police officers closely supervised the arrangements on the ground. At the same time, teams from various wings coordinated to regulate traffic, control access points and secure venues linked to the visit.
Officials said the President’s programme was part of her scheduled winter retreat. Therefore, police maintained heightened vigilance across all locations connected to her itinerary in and around Hyderabad.
Security arrangements intensified for President Murmu Hyderabad visit
Sudheer Babu said authorities prepared a comprehensive security plan well in advance for the President Murmu Hyderabad visit. As part of the plan, police deployed personnel at strategic points and strengthened surveillance around Ramoji Film City.
He added that coordination with other government departments ensured smooth movement and effective crowd management. Consequently, the police remained on high alert for the entire duration of the President’s stay in the city.
