New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path reflected India’s democratic strength, national unity, and cultural richness, as the country celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm and pride.
In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister shared glimpses of the celebrations and said Kartavya Path witnessed a powerful display of national pride. He said the parade highlighted the strength of India’s democracy, the richness of its heritage, and the unity that bound the nation together.
The Prime Minister said India was privileged to host European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during the Republic Day celebrations. According to him, their presence reflected the growing strength of the India–European Union partnership. He added that the visit would further deepen cooperation between India and Europe across multiple sectors.
He also said the Republic Day parade showcased India’s formidable security apparatus. According to the Prime Minister, the display reflected the country’s preparedness, technological capabilities, and firm commitment to protecting its citizens.
Republic Day parade highlights security strength and cultural diversity
Prime Minister Modi said the parade offered a clear glimpse into the strengthening capabilities of India’s security forces. He described the forces as the pride of the nation and shared visuals highlighting their impressive presence during the parade.
At the same time, he said Kartavya Path came alive with a vivid display of India’s cultural diversity. He noted that vibrant performances and tableaux showcased the country’s rich and diverse heritage during the Republic Day parade.
