Rajasthan AI Impact Conference 2026 to be held in Jaipur on January 6

Jaipur: Rajasthan will host the Rajasthan AI Impact Conference 2026 in Jaipur on January 6 as part of India’s build-up to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, officials said on Saturday.

The conference aims to examine how artificial intelligence can strengthen governance, drive economic growth, and support inclusive development. It will also act as a key regional platform for policy, innovation, and deployment discussions.

Senior leadership from both the Union government and the Rajasthan government will participate in the event. Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw will attend the conference.

In addition, Shri Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and Commerce and Industry, will take part. Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma and IT and Communication Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore will also be present.

The Rajasthan AI Impact Conference will feature major announcements and the signing of Memoranda of Understanding. These MoUs aim to strengthen the state’s AI ecosystem and boost adoption across priority sectors.

Rajasthan AI Impact Conference to focus on policy, skills, and startups

The conference agenda includes sessions on AI for public service delivery and governance. It will also cover ethical and responsible AI frameworks.

Moreover, experts will discuss AI’s impact on employment and future skills. The programme will highlight Rajasthan’s growing AI startup and innovation ecosystem as well.

Meanwhile, speakers will examine advanced applications such as digital twins and AI-led infrastructure planning. The discussions will also explore whether AI can help India shift from outsourcing to intellectual property creation.

In addition, experts will share perspectives on global, national, and regional AI strategies. IIT Jodhpur will contribute an academic and research viewpoint to the discussions.

The conference will run alongside Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Summit 2026. Therefore, the event underlines Rajasthan’s ambition to emerge as a hub for digital innovation and emerging technologies.
