Bandi Sanjay alleges CM Revanth, KCR nexus; raises questions on key cases

Hyderabad: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged a Revanth KCR nexus and accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of shielding leaders of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). He made these remarks while addressing the media in Karimnagar.

At the same time, he rejected claims that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and BRS are working together. Instead, he argued that Congress leaders are spreading such narratives for political advantage.

Allegations spark political confrontation

The Revanth KCR nexus claim has intensified political tensions in Telangana. Bandi Sanjay stated that a Chief Minister must verify facts before making allegations against opponents.

Moreover, he asserted that the BJP has consistently opposed the BRS more strongly than the Congress. As a result, he dismissed accusations of any understanding between the two parties.

Questions over key investigations

He held the previous BRS government led by K. Chandrashekar Rao responsible for issues related to the Kaleshwaram project. In addition, he questioned why authorities have not taken action against members of KCR’s family in several cases.

Furthermore, he sought clarity on the report submitted by Akun Sabharwal regarding drug-related investigations. He also raised concerns about delays in cases linked to alleged phone tapping and irrigation projects.

Demand for transparency

Bandi Sanjay emphasised that the government must explain the lack of progress in these investigations. He argued that selective action and silence suggest a possible political understanding.

However, he maintained that the public will ultimately judge the situation. According to him, voters will decide whether the BJP’s opposition is genuine or if there is any hidden coordination among rival parties.
