Hyderabad: Kaleshwaram temple redevelopment began as Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for a ₹198 crore project to upgrade the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Temple.
The Chief Minister performed darshan at the temple. He also took part in Maha Rudrabhishekam before starting the redevelopment works. In addition, he visited the Subhananda Devi Temple during the programme.
Officials said the Kaleshwaram temple redevelopment would include new infrastructure to improve facilities for devotees. They briefed the Chief Minister on key components planned under the project.
Kaleshwaram temple redevelopment to add transport facilities
Revanth Reddy also laid the foundation stone for a proposed bus station at Kaleshwaram. The project is estimated to cost ₹3.70 crore. Therefore, the move aims to improve connectivity to the temple area.
Endowments Principal Secretary Sailaja Ramaiyer and Commissioner Hanumantha Rao honoured the Chief Minister and ministers. They presented prasadam and silk robes during the ceremony.
Several ministers attended the programme, including Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Adluri Laxman and Gaddam Vivek. Moreover, MP Vamsi Krishna and other public representatives were present.
