Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly appointed youth on 19 September. He was also set to address the selected candidates through video conferencing at 12:30 PM.
The 20th Rozgar Mela was scheduled to take place at 45 locations across the country. Newly recruited candidates would join various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India after completing the selection process.
The appointment letters would cover recruits joining several government departments. These included the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Department of Financial Services and Ministry of Defence would also receive newly appointed personnel. The programme would therefore connect recruits joining different areas of government service.
The event reflected the Government’s continued focus on creating employment opportunities for young people. It also aimed to support their participation in the country’s development journey through appointments across government organisations.
The programme would bring together newly selected candidates at locations spread across the country. Through the video conference, the Prime Minister would address candidates joining government service on the same occasion.
The 19 September event would also mark another stage in the recruitment programme. More than 51,000 young people were set to receive appointment letters through the 20th edition.
Appointment letters raise total Rozgar Mela appointments to 12.75 lakh
The 20th edition would take the overall number of youth receiving appointment letters through the programme to about 12.75 lakh. These appointments covered various Departments and Government Organisations.
The programme would include candidates selected for posts across multiple areas of government administration. The participating organisations included departments responsible for revenue, railways, home affairs, health, financial services and defence.
The Prime Minister’s address was also scheduled as part of the 19 September programme. Candidates at the 45 locations would participate in the event through the planned video conference.
The government has used the Rozgar Mela programme to organise appointment-related events for newly recruited personnel. The latest edition would add more than 51,000 recruits to the programme’s overall appointment count.
The appointment letters would formally mark the selected candidates’ entry into various government organisations. Their recruitment would cover different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.
The event was also designed to connect young recruits across different parts of the country. This nationwide format would allow candidates at all 45 locations to take part in the Prime Minister’s address.
With the 20th edition, the programme’s cumulative appointment figure would reach about 12.75 lakh. The figure includes appointments made through earlier editions of the Rozgar Mela.
The 19 September programme was therefore set to combine the distribution of more than 51,000 appointment letters with a nationwide address to selected candidates. The event would take place simultaneously at 45 locations.
