Telangana 99 Days Action Plan to accelerate development outreach

Hyderabad: The Telangana government firmed up the Telangana 99 Days Action Plan to accelerate development works and strengthen welfare outreach across the State.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will chair a high-level review at the Secretariat at 3 pm on Saturday. He will meet secretaries of key departments to finalise targets under the programme. During the meeting, he will clear department-wise action points and fix timelines for execution.

Earlier, the government constituted a Cabinet sub-committee to prepare the framework. The panel compiled progress reports and identified priority sectors. Consequently, the plan consolidates work completed over the past two years and sets short-term, measurable goals. At the same time, it aligns departmental output with public outreach.

Telangana 99 Days Action Plan rollout and monitoring

The government will implement the programme from March 2 to June 9. The 99-day schedule will cover all districts across Telangana. Moreover, ministers, legislators and district officials will conduct coordinated reviews and field visits. The administration expects close monitoring at mandal and district levels.

Meanwhile, opposition parties have alleged that development slowed after the Congress government assumed office. In response, the government will use the Telangana 99 Days Action Plan to present department-wise progress and ongoing works before the public. It will also track sanctioned projects and clear pending proposals within fixed deadlines.

Officials said the Chief Minister will insist on weekly reviews and measurable outcomes. He will direct departments to submit regular progress updates. Further details are expected after the Secretariat meeting concludes.
