Hyderabad: The government carried out a major reshuffle with Telangana IPS officer transfers covering 23 posts. The order, issued late Friday, impacted Hyderabad police, enforcement agencies, and district commands.
Sajjanar was posted as Hyderabad commissioner, marking a key change in city policing. CV Anand was appointed special chief secretary, home. Shikha Goel was named DG, Vigilance and Enforcement, while Charu Sinha received additional charge as ACB DG.

Among other postings, Swati Lakra was assigned additional charge as DG, Special Protection Force. Nagireddy became RTC MD, Vijay Kumar was named Intelligence DG, and Stephen Ravindra was posted as principal secretary, civil supplies.
District policing also saw changes. SM Vijay Kumar was made Siddipet commissioner, Vineet became Narayanpet SP, and Anuradha was named LB Nagar DCP. Hyderabad zones saw Srinivasulu as additional CP, crime, Tafseer Iqbal as joint commissioner, law and order, Yogesh Gautam as Rajendranagar DCP, Ch. Srinivas as West Zone DCP, and Ritu Raj as Madhapur DCP.
Officials said the reshuffle was aimed at improving efficiency across law enforcement. With civic polls ahead, leadership changes are seen as timely.
