Accountability key in engineering college fee hike process
According to the new orders, colleges will be judged on attendance systems, use of facial recognition, Aadhaar-based payments and research promotion. Their education quality and placement records will also be reviewed.
Officials clarified that rankings at the national and global level, along with adherence to government rules, will be considered before granting fee approvals. The move is meant to bring greater transparency and improve academic standards across the state.
