TGEJAC urges state to fulfil promises to employees by December 9

Hyderabad: The Telangana Government Employees Joint Action Committee (TGEJAC) on Monday urged the state to fulfil its pending promises to employees by December 9. The demand was made during TGEJAC’s general body meeting at the TNGO office in Hyderabad.

The committee asked the government to address key issues so that employees can actively participate in the upcoming public administration celebrations. Members passed four resolutions during the session.

TGEJAC reminded the government of its assurance to release Dearness Allowance (DA) every six months. It urged officials to release the next DA installment by December 12. The committee also demanded the immediate issue of employee health cards and monthly clearance of ₹1,500 crore in pending medical bills.

TGEJAC seeks TET exemption for pre-2010 teachers

Another key demand was to exempt teachers appointed before 2010 from the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). TGEJAC called on the government to pass a resolution in the Legislative Assembly and forward it to the central government.

Committee chairman M. Jagadeeshwar, general secretary Eluri Srinivasa Rao, and leaders Pulagam Damodar Reddy, Sadananda Goud, Madhusudan Reddy, Venkat, Vanga Ravinder Reddy, Mujib, Satyanarayana, Katakam Ramesh, and B. Shyam attended the meeting.
