Hyderabad: Three youths died on the spot and two others sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Khammam district early Wednesday morning, police said.
The accident occurred in Kishtaram under Sathupalli mandal. A speeding car carrying five youths lost control and rammed into a road divider. Locals who witnessed the crash alerted the police. Consequently, they reached the spot and began an investigation.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identities of the victims are yet to be officially confirmed, and further details about the accident are awaited.

According to initial reports, all five youths were travelling together in the car. The vehicle veered off course and struck the divider at high speed. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Police are working to gather more information. They want to know whether the victims were residents of the local area and if any mechanical failure contributed to the crash.
