US policies threaten global peace, says CPI leader Narayana

Hyderabad: CPI leader K. Narayana said US policies threaten global peace and warned that growing conflicts across regions are creating instability in the international system.

He made the remarks while addressing the second day of the Communist Party of India Telangana State Council meeting at Maqdoom Bhavan on Wednesday.

Narayana criticised the foreign policy approach of the United States and said such policies increase global tensions. According to him, these actions undermine efforts aimed at maintaining international peace.

The CPI National Control Commission chairman also spoke about the economic crisis in Cuba.

He said the crisis continues because of long-standing blockades and international economic pressure.

However, Narayana said the people of Cuba continue to resist despite difficult conditions and economic hardship.

US policies criticised amid rising international conflicts

Referring to the recent war situation, Narayana called for an immediate halt to military aggression against Iran.

He said wars only bring destruction and suffering to ordinary people.

According to the CPI leader, countries opposing imperialist policies should work together to stop further escalation of conflicts.

He specifically urged Russia and China to coordinate efforts to protect global peace and stability.

Narayana also referred to recent political developments in Sri Lanka.

He said youth played a major role in people’s movements that shaped political changes in the country.

Commenting on Indian politics, the CPI leader said the Left Democratic Front remains strong in Kerala.
