Hyderabad: Vice-President of India Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan was scheduled to undertake the Vice-President Telangana visit on December 20 and 21, with official engagements planned in Hyderabad and Nandigama.
On December 20, the Vice-President was set to attend the valedictory function of the National Conference of Chairpersons of Public Service Commissions as the Chief Guest. The organisers held the event at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The conference brought together chairpersons of public service commissions from across the country to discuss recruitment systems, governance standards, and administrative reforms.
Meanwhile, officials said the two-day schedule reflected Telangana’s growing role in hosting national-level institutional deliberations and public administration conferences.
Vice-President Telangana visit highlights meditation day programme
On December 21, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan was scheduled to participate as the Chief Guest at the World Meditation Day celebrations. The Heartfulness Global Headquarters organised the programme at Kanha Shanti Vanam in Nandigama.
The event focused on meditation, inner well-being, and global harmony. It was expected to attract participants from India and abroad. The Vice-President concluded his official engagements in the state with this programme.
