Visible policing intensified across Cyberabad commissionerate

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police intensified visible policing across the commissionerate as part of proactive steps to strengthen public confidence and maintain strict vigil over suspicious activities.

Police officials said the visible policing drive aimed to deter unlawful activities, reassure residents, and ensure quick response to any emerging law and order situation. As part of the exercise, police personnel equipped with lathis conducted extensive checks across all police station jurisdictions under the Cyberabad Commissionerate.

Officers focused on continuous patrolling and systematic vehicle verification in both crowded and vulnerable locations. The checks covered busy junctions, commercial areas, residential neighbourhoods, and isolated stretches of roads. Police said such locations often required special attention, particularly during late evening and night hours.

Within the Narsingi Police Station limits, Station House Officer Harikrishna Reddy led visible policing activities along with his staff. The teams conducted vehicle inspections at multiple points, including busy public areas and relatively deserted stretches such as Alijapur Road. Officers verified documents and interacted with commuters as part of the checks.

Police teams in Kukatpally also stepped up enforcement. They carried out vehicle checking near Rainbow Vistas Junction, a high-traffic area. Officials said the presence of police personnel in uniform helped improve public confidence and acted as a deterrent to anti-social elements.

Visible policing Cyberabad focuses on vigilance and public cooperation

Across other police station limits in the commissionerate, police intensified checks at key junctions and sensitive points. Officials said continuous patrolling, coupled with vehicle verification drives, would remain a priority in the coming days. The aim is to prevent crimes such as theft, chain snatching, and other unlawful activities.

Senior officers said visible policing formed an important part of preventive policing. They added that such measures helped police identify suspicious movements early and respond effectively. According to officials, the exercise also allowed police personnel to engage directly with citizens and address safety concerns.

Police have appealed to the public to cooperate during vehicle checks and patrolling drives. Citizens were advised to immediately inform the police or dial 100 if they noticed any suspicious persons, vehicles, or objects in their localities.

Officials said visible policing would continue regularly across Cyberabad to maintain law and order and ensure the safety and security of residents.
