Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will receive the prestigious Aryadan Muhammed Award 2026 for Best Public Servant in Kerala on Friday.
The Aryadan Muhammed Foundation selected Revanth Reddy for the honour in recognition of his leadership and welfare initiatives. In particular, the foundation cited schemes for farmers, backward classes and other communities in Telangana.
Foundation Working Chairman and Nilambur MLA Aryadan Shoukath announced the selection. He said the foundation recognised Revanth Reddy’s leadership and innovative welfare measures.
The selection jury includes MP Benny Behanan, Kerala Revenue Minister A.P. Anil Kumar and prominent intellectual Kalpetta Narayanan. According to the foundation, the jury also praised the Telangana Chief Minister’s commitment to democratic values.
The foundation will present the Aryadan Muhammed Award at Nilambur in Kerala at 4 pm on Friday. The ceremony will mark the fourth death anniversary of late Aryadan Muhammed.
Revanth Reddy will receive a cash prize of ₹1 lakh, a citation and a memento. Meanwhile, AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal will deliver the Aryadan Muhammed memorial lecture during the ceremony.
Aryadan Muhammed Award honours Kerala leader
The foundation presents the Aryadan Muhammed Award in memory of the late Kerala Congress leader. Aryadan Muhammed represented his constituency as an MLA eight times and held ministerial portfolios in four Kerala governments.
The foundation described him as a statesman, parliamentarian and administrator who remained connected with the people of Kerala. It also highlighted his commitment to integrity, secular values and public welfare.
The award selection reflects the foundation jury’s stated recognition of Revanth Reddy’s governance and welfare initiatives in Telangana. Moreover, the jury specifically cited his work involving farmers, backward classes and other communities.
The ceremony at Nilambur will bring together the award presentation and the memorial lecture marking the fourth death anniversary of Aryadan Muhammed.
