29 women founders join TiE Women Asia Summit bootcamp in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Twenty-nine women founders from across Asia have gathered in Hyderabad for the TiE Women Asia Summit 2026 Entrepreneurship Development Program bootcamp.

TiE Hyderabad hosted the two-day bootcamp ahead of the three-day summit, which runs from September 24–26. For the first time, TiE has expanded the bootcamp format beyond individual chapter-level programmes to bring founders from across the region into a shared learning track.

The programme focused on practical challenges that women founders face while building and scaling businesses. Sessions covered business models, product-market fit, artificial intelligence, fundraising and expansion across Asian markets.

Rather than relying only on lectures, the organisers designed the sessions for active participation. Founders applied the frameworks to their own businesses and received direct feedback from entrepreneurs, mentors and ecosystem leaders.

The curriculum covered business model and product-market fit, AI for entrepreneurs, scaling across Asian markets, and investor readiness and fundraising. An Ask Me Anything session with TiE Charter Members also gave participants direct access to experienced entrepreneurs.

The founders used informal networking opportunities to exchange experiences from different markets. Shared meals, a campus walk and other interactions created additional opportunities for participants to discuss practical challenges and market-specific insights.

Women founders connect across Asian markets

The bootcamp forms part of a wider summit built around four themes: Learn, Connect, Compete and Explore. The programme aims to help women entrepreneurs build relationships with investors, mentors and fellow founders while creating opportunities for cross-border collaboration and market access.

Woxsen University, a business school in Telangana, hosted the bootcamp as the knowledge partner for the programme. The university provided the venue for the two-day learning programme.

Following the bootcamp, delegates moved to the next stage of the summit with an evening Gala Dinner. The programme will then conclude with the TiE Women Asia Global Semi-Finals Pitch Competition on the summit’s third day.

TiE Hyderabad President Murali Kakarla said the summit was designed as a broader journey for women entrepreneurs, beginning with business fundamentals and progressing towards investor-facing opportunities.

“The TiE Women Asia Summit is about far more than a single event,” Kakarla said. He added that the programme aimed to strengthen women-led businesses over the long term rather than simply celebrate entrepreneurship for a day.

Sakthi Chevuturi, Core Committee Member of TiE Women Hyderabad, said the participation of 29 founders demonstrated the value of creating platforms for entrepreneurs from different markets.

Chevuturi also said the broader goal should be equal access to support and recognition for women and men founders. She described programmes such as the bootcamp as part of the process of building that wider ecosystem.
