Hyderabad: BioAsia 2026 will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad on February 17. The annual forum ranks among Asia’s largest life sciences and biotechnology gatherings.
The two-day event carries the theme “TechBio Unleashed: AI, Automation & the Biology Revolution.” It will bring together leaders from pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare and technology sectors. Policymakers from India and abroad are also expected to participate.
BioAsia 2026 to spotlight AI and biotech innovation
BioAsia 2026 will feature Industries and Commerce Minister D. Sridhar Babu as Guest of Honour. Dr Rajesh S. Gokhale, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology and Chairman of BIRAC, will attend the inaugural session. Sanjay Kumar, Special Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana, will also be present.
The opening sessions will focus on scaling innovation and integrating science with digital technologies. Speakers will also discuss building resilient global supply chains.
International experts from leading institutions and companies will deliver keynote addresses. Panel discussions will examine growth drivers for pharma and biotech between 2026 and 2030. Experts will also deliberate on next-generation biologics, cell and gene therapies, and the expanding role of artificial intelligence in research, development and manufacturing.
A marquee CEO Conclave will deliberate on the future of global pharma and biotech amid evolving geopolitical and regulatory landscapes. On the second day, BioAsia 2026 will spotlight Global Capability Centres and patient-centric innovation. Sessions will further explore deep-tech manufacturing finance and India’s role in the global life sciences value chain.
