Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka attended the VD Satheesan swearing-in ceremony held in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
The two Telangana leaders travelled to Kerala on a special flight for the event organised at the Central Stadium. Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath of office to V. D. Satheesan and his 20-member Cabinet.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge attended the ceremony along with senior Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Chief Ministers from Congress-ruled states also participated in the swearing-in ceremony. Former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, leaders from Left parties, and BJP representatives attended the public event.
Revanth Reddy later shared details about the gathering through a post on X. He described the occasion as a meeting of friends and colleagues during the celebrations in Kerala.

The Telangana Chief Minister also shared a group photograph featuring Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar.
Bhatti Vikramarka also appeared in the photograph shared by Revanth Reddy on social media. According to the Telangana Chief Minister, the atmosphere at the venue reflected hope, enthusiasm, and political energy among Congress leaders.
Revanth Reddy further stated that Congress leaders across the country would continue working together towards the goal of seeing Rahul Gandhi take oath as Prime Minister in the future.
Officials said the VD Satheesan swearing-in ceremony took place in the presence of political leaders from different parties and states. The event attracted senior Congress functionaries, Left party representatives, BJP leaders, and public representatives.
The Kerala Governor administered the oath to VD Satheesan and members of the new Cabinet during the ceremony at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. With the swearing-in completed, the new Kerala government officially assumed office.
Congress leaders from different states also held informal interactions on the sidelines of the programme before returning after the ceremony concluded.
