Raidurg auction generates ₹2,833.22 crore for TGIIC

Hyderabad: The latest Raidurg auction generated ₹1,447.22 crore from a 5.38-acre plot, TGIIC said. The Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation auctioned Plot P2 at ₹269 crore per acre.

The result followed the auction of Plot P1 last week. That 5.25-acre plot fetched ₹1,386 crore at ₹264 crore per acre. TGIIC said it had already received 25% of the Plot P1 auction value as the first-stage payment.

Together, the two auctions generated about ₹2,833.22 crore from 10.63 acres. The combined average realisation stood at about ₹266.53 crore per acre.

The Raidurg auction results showed strong demand for strategically located land in the corridor. Both plots achieved realisations above ₹260 crore per acre within one week.

According to TGIIC, the price discovery reflected investor confidence in Hyderabad’s long-term growth prospects. The corporation linked that confidence to the city’s expanding business ecosystem and strong infrastructure connectivity.

The outcome also highlighted Hyderabad’s growing role as a major business and investment destination. In addition, TGIIC said the results reinforced the city’s position among India’s dynamic real estate markets.

Raidurg auction reflects investor confidence

TGIIC Vice Chairman and Managing Director K. Shashanka, IAS, said the results endorsed investor confidence in Hyderabad and Telangana. He also said Raidurg continued to attract interest as a major business and investment destination.

Shashanka said the strong realisations showed demand for strategically located land. He added that transparent and competitive bidding could unlock significant value from such assets.

He also credited the Telangana Government’s investor-friendly policies and continued infrastructure development. According to him, these measures supported the latest auction outcome.

TGIIC conducted both auctions through the MSTC e-Auction platform. JLL served as the Exclusive Transaction Advisor for the process.

JLL supported TGIIC with market positioning and investor engagement. It also assisted with competitive price discovery during the auction process.

The combined proceeds marked another milestone in Telangana’s strategic land monetisation efforts. The state corporation used a transparent and market-driven process to create value from strategically located public assets.

The latest Raidurg auction also built on the strong result recorded in the previous sale. Together, the two transactions delivered a substantial realisation from a limited land parcel.

TGIIC said the results demonstrated sustained investor interest in the Raidurg corridor. The corporation also highlighted the consistency of prices achieved across the two auctions.

The latest transaction further strengthened the financial outcome from the corridor. It also underscored the role of competitive auctions in unlocking the value of public land.
