EVM warehouse inspection held in Rangareddy by district collector

Hyderabad: Rangareddy District Collector C. Narayana Reddy conducted an EVM warehouse inspection at Rajendranagar on Wednesday in the presence of recognised political party representatives. He reviewed ballot units and election material stored in the godown.

He moved through the storage rooms with party delegates and asked officials for details about the electronic voting machines. The collector advised the teams to follow all safety steps. He also opened the godown seal before the party representatives and examined the machines. Later, he resealed the warehouse in their presence to ensure transparency.

The EVM warehouse inspection included Rajendranagar RDO Venkat Reddy, the local tahsildar, warehouse in-charge Bomma Ramulu and several officials. Representatives from BJP, AIMIM, CPI, INC and TDP also attended. They noted the procedures and confirmed the condition of the stored units.

The district administration stated that the inspection followed quarterly guidelines and aimed to maintain security of election equipment. An official communication from the District PRO confirmed the completion of the exercise as per protocol.
