Regional Ring Road DPR begins for southern stretch in Telangana

Hyderabad: Regional Ring Road DPR process has officially begun in Telangana, marking a major step forward in the state’s infrastructure development. The Regional Ring Road DPR for the southern stretch entered the planning phase after the Centre responded positively to the state government’s proposal.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari informed State Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy about the development through an official letter. As a result, authorities have initiated preparatory work for the ambitious project.

DPR process gains momentum after Centre’s approval

The Regional Ring Road DPR process gained momentum after the Centre approved the proposal submitted by the Telangana government. Moreover, officials have already appointed a consultancy to prepare the Detailed Project Report.

This step ensures that technical, financial and environmental aspects of the project are assessed thoroughly. Consequently, the DPR will play a crucial role in determining the execution roadmap.
