Good Governance Week 2025 ends with nationwide ‘Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign

New Delhi: Good Governance Week 2025 concluded on December 25 with the successful completion of the nationwide ‘Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign, marking strong public participation and measurable improvements in service delivery.

Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message on Sushashan Saptah 2025, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances organised the programme from December 19 to 25. The campaign aimed to promote people-centric, inclusive and future-ready governance.

Authorities conducted Good Governance Week 2025 across all 36 States and Union Territories. District and tehsil administrations focused on clearing pending service delivery applications and resolving public grievances. They also organised special camps and documented best governance practices.

Officials said the campaign witnessed nationwide participation. District administrations actively used CPGRAMS and state grievance portals to address citizen complaints. At the same time, departments shared success stories and updated governance initiatives on a dedicated portal.

As part of the concluding programme, officials held a National Workshop on Good Governance Practices at the Civil Services Officers’ Institute in New Delhi on December 25. Secretary, DoPT, DARPG and DPPW, Rachna Shah, delivered the welcome address. She highlighted Good Governance Day and recalled the legacy of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
