Job creators among students urged by Komatireddy Venkat Reddy

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Saturday urged job creators among students, asking them to move beyond seeking employment.

He addressed the “Silver Synergy” celebrations marking 25 years of the MBA Department of S.D. Signodia College and MCA Department of N.B. Science College. The Minister described the event as a key milestone for both institutions.

According to him, the colleges have delivered quality education for 25 years. As a result, they have shaped thousands of students. He also said the celebrations reflected the collective effort of management, faculty, students, and alumni.

Moreover, he noted that such achievements show sustained academic commitment. Therefore, he urged students to use these opportunities effectively.

Job creators among students need vision and innovation

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said students must define clear goals and build a strong vision. He stressed that innovation and determination would help them succeed in the future.

“You should not remain job seekers. You must become job creators,” he said. In addition, he referred to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam while highlighting the importance of vision.

The Minister recalled that he had set a goal to become a Minister four decades ago. Consequently, he said clarity of purpose helped him achieve success.

During the visit, he returned to N.B. Science College after 44 years. There, he recalled his Intermediate education and visited his old classroom.

He also announced a donation of 50 modern computers to the college. As a result, students would gain better practical skills. Furthermore, he expressed gratitude to his teachers and said the institution shaped his life.

He added that he chose this event over attending a reunion of CBIT batchmates in the United States. Meanwhile, he expressed confidence that the institutions would continue to grow and contribute to society.

Agarwal Shiksha Samiti President Pramod Kumar Kedia and Chairman Dr. Shyam Sunder attended the programme. Along with them, several other members and officials also took part.
