Hyderabad: Kaveti Manohar joins Telangana Jagruthi on Monday after president Kalvakuntla Kavitha inducted him into the organisation at a programme in the city. Manohar is the son of late former MLA Kaveti Sammaiah and is associated with BRS as a senior leader.
Kavitha welcomed him by draping the party scarf and formally invited him to work for the organisation. Along with him, his wife Kaveti Sabita and several followers also enrolled in Telangana Jagruthi. The event drew party activists and local supporters.
Speaking at the programme, Manohar said he felt pleased to become part of the organisation. He stated that he decided to extend his support to Kavitha as she was striving for social Telangana and social justice. According to him, her efforts aimed to secure equal opportunities for all sections of society.
He expressed confidence that Telangana could achieve balanced growth under her leadership. He added that she had been encouraging youth participation in public life. Because of this approach, he said, she was receiving increasing support from different communities.

Manohar further said the organisation was working with a clear social agenda. He noted that it sought to address issues concerning backward and marginalised groups. At the same time, he emphasised the need for collective effort to strengthen democratic values.
He assured the leadership that he would actively participate in organisational programmes across the State. In addition, he promised to mobilise youth and local leaders to expand the party’s reach. He said he would focus on grassroots work to reinforce Telangana Jagruthi at the district and mandal levels.
Party leaders present at the event welcomed his decision. They expressed hope that his entry would energise cadre and widen the organisation’s base. Meanwhile, supporters greeted the development with applause and slogans.
Finally, Manohar reiterated that he would work with dedication and discipline. He affirmed his commitment to the principles advocated by the leadership and pledged to contribute to future campaigns and outreach activities.
