New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Amman on Tuesday, marking a historic bilateral engagement with Jordan after a gap of 37 years.
In a special gesture highlighting close ties, Jordan Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan received Modi at the airport. Authorities accorded him a ceremonial welcome on arrival, reflecting the importance of the visit.
This marks the first leg of the Prime Minister’s three-nation tour, which also includes Ethiopia and Oman. Importantly, the PM Narendra Modi Amman visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Jordan.
