Hyderabad: Norway envoy meeting with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy focused on cooperation and investment prospects, as both sides discussed future partnerships in Telangana.
Norwegian Ambassador May-Elin Stener, along with her delegation, met the Chief Minister at his residence in Jubilee Hills. The discussion signalled Norway’s interest in using Telangana as a key hub for planned investments in India.
Senior officials attended the interaction. Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao and Principal Secretary to the CMO Seshadri were present during the meeting.
Moreover, officials said the engagement formed part of ongoing diplomatic outreach. The effort aims to strengthen economic ties and attract foreign investment into the state.
Norway envoy meeting signals investment interest in Telangana
During the interaction, the delegation expressed interest in exploring Telangana as a primary destination. Therefore, talks focused on identifying potential areas for collaboration.
The exchange remained formal in nature. However, both sides discussed ways to expand cooperation in the future.
Meanwhile, officials said Telangana continues to position itself as an emerging investment destination. They added that further engagements could follow based on the outcome of this meeting.
